Where are all my old vets? Where are the folks who remember what service, sacrifice, and standing up for something bigger than themselves actually mean?
Because this old man is getting damn tired of watching our country argue with itself while trust in our government takes another beating.
I’m tired of politicians making promises and dodging accountability. I’m tired of watching ordinary Americans struggle while those in power seem to live by a different set of rules. I’m tired of the excuses, the finger-pointing, and the political circus.
We didn’t serve this country so people in positions of power could forget who they’re supposed to work for.
THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!
You don’t have to agree with me on every issue. You don’t have to share my politics. But you should care about your country, your future, and the people who will inherit it.
And here’s where the rubber meets the road.
TOMORROW IS ELECTION DAY!
If you haven’t voted early, make your plan and get out there tomorrow. Don’t surrender your voice to somebody else. Don’t assume your vote doesn’t matter. And don’t let political exhaustion convince you that staying home is the answer.
Look at the candidates. Look at their records. Ask the hard questions. Decide for yourself.
Then cast your vote.
I’m 73 years old, a Navy Seabee veteran, and I’ve still got plenty to say. I may be getting older, but I haven’t misplaced my backbone, my common sense, or my right to speak up.
This country belongs to its people. Government officials work for us, not the other way around.
SO WAKE UP, AMERICA! GET INFORMED, GET INVOLVED, AND GET OUT AND VOTE!
The Old Man isn’t asking anybody to vote a particular way.
I’m asking you not to throw away the privilege that generations before us fought, served, and sacrificed to protect.
Now pass me that coffee. This old Seabee isn’t finished talking! 🔥🇺🇸
