πŸ”₯ THE OLD MAN IS DONE PLAYING NICE! πŸ”₯

up on my damn soapbox tonight

Let me get up on my damn soapbox tonight, because I’m fed up, and I’m not in the mood to polish anybody’s feelings.

First, Bluesky. You suspended my account, but you can’t be bothered to give me a straight answer explaining WHY? How the hell is anyone supposed to understand an alleged violation when the people holding the hammer won’t clearly explain what you supposedly did wrong?

Accountability shouldn’t be a one-way street. If you can silence somebody, you ought to have the backbone to explain your decision. Don’t hide behind vague explanations and automated responses. Give people answers!

Then we have the scammers. The lowlifes crawling all over social media, preying on lonely people, older folks, and anybody they think might be vulnerable. Fake romance, fake investment opportunities, fake promises of easy money. And now every other stranger seems to want to sell you Bitcoin or crypto like they’ve discovered the secret to getting rich.

Here’s a free piece of advice from an old man: If some stranger slides into your messages promising financial freedom, keep your wallet shut and your damn guard up!

These people aren’t your friends. They don’t care about your future. They care about getting their hands on your money. And the ones who deliberately exploit somebody’s loneliness, trust, or desperation deserve every bit of scrutiny we can throw at them.

And while we’re talking about people who think the rules don’t apply to them, let’s talk about our government.

I’m sick of watching politicians make promises, point fingers, protect their own interests, and expect ordinary Americans to pick up the tab. Too many people in power seem to have forgotten that public office is supposed to be public service, not a personal playground.

We deserve transparency. We deserve accountability. We deserve leaders who answer difficult questions instead of dodging them, and a system that applies the rules to the powerful as well as the powerless.

I’m a Navy Seabee veteran. I served this country from 1972 to 1976. I didn’t put on that uniform because I thought America was perfect. I served because this country was worth serving.

And damn right, I still believe it’s worth demanding better from it!

I’m an old man. I’ve lived long enough to know the world has never been short of crooks, bullies, or people who think they’re above the rules. But that doesn’t mean I have to sit quietly and accept it.

I’m tired of platforms that won’t explain themselves. I’m tired of scammers treating human beings like walking wallets. I’m tired of politicians who act as though accountability is something for everyone else.

And no, I’m not going to shut up just because somebody might not like what I have to say.

You don’t have to agree with me. You don’t even have to like me. But if you expect my respect, bring some honesty, some integrity, and the courage to answer for your actions.

Because this old man has just about run out of patience for bullshit dressed up as business, authority, or public service.

    ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Now, who’s joining me on this soapbox tonight? πŸ”₯πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
